Dr. Berliner’s practice, while encompassing most areas of neurology and psychiatry, focuses on the evaluation and management of head and neck pain.  Using an aggressive and holistic approach to the relief of pain, Dr. Berliner uses combinations of medications, lifestyle and behavioral adjustments, procedures such as nerve blocks, Botox injections, and trigger point injections, and when appropriate homeopathic supplements in relieving pain.  “Many patients come to our practice thinking or having been told that they have tried everything.  It’s my belief that that cannot be true, because new approaches are being developed all the time, so I never give up, and I encourage my patients to maintain that same optimism.”

Dr. Berliner attends at Montefiore Medical Center in the Bronx, St. Joseph’s Hospital in Yonkers, and at Lenox Hill Hospital in Manhattan.  He holds faculty appointments as Asst.
